PLAY! by Sephora February Review

Hi there! I hope you had a great weekend because I know I did here in California! Sadly I am flying back to Boston tomorrow, but I gotta do what I gotta do and I look forward to coming home and going back to work. Oh and Happy Leap Year! Woohoo! Anyway, onto my first Sephora Play! box review EVER. Since I'm subscribed to so many boxes, after this post I'm going to change the way I share and review them. So stay tuned for that ;)

When you spray TOM FORD's Black Orchid perfume, at first the smell can be off putting. It definitely put me off for a quick second until you really let the scent settle. It has a very unique and sexy scent that I probably wouldn't mind using every now and then. This will be one of the go-tos, but definitely doesn't beat my all time favorite perfume, Versace.

The Lancôme DRAMA LIQUID PENCIL Longwear Eyeliner is one of the easiest pencil eyeliners I've ever used to apply my line. The formula feels rich but because it is a 'liquid pencil' you do have to work quickly before it dries and crumbles on you. I would probably use this for just under the eye since I don't tend to apply too much there anyway. Is it worth the price? Eh, that's questionable, but if you absolutely love this particular pencil or the idea of it, grab your favorite color!

The formula of the MAKE UP FOR EVER Rouge Artist Natural is great because it is moisturizing and the application process is simple. It glides on with no dryness and you can choose to either have a light shade or a pigmented shade of this lipstick. This is a great color for every skin tone out there! I do adore this color and is one that I will have on me in case my lips look dry and dull.

tarte's Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara is the one I am currently using on my trip in California. It is a lengthening mascara that does not smudge or bleed after application, which is one of the important aspects I look for in a mascara. I call my lashes boldly natural with this! And I've tried plenty of mascaras but almost immediately after use I knew this is one I'm going to keep using until I'm out of the sample size and purchase a full size product of this.

Bumble and Bumble Prêt-à-Powder is dry shampoo and can be used as a style extender for those who want to make their hair look more exciting. A benefit of this product is that it does not leave the powder in the hair looking like dandruff or baking soda! Some dry shampoos I've used I'd have to really blend it into my hair but with this one it's absolutely no problem.

bareMinerals Pop of Passion lipstick is one I probably will not use only because I have an obsession with matte liquid lipsticks and this one is far from that. It is a beautiful color however and I like how you can play with the pigmentation. If you want a light cute and natural pop of pink, lightly apply it to your lips. If you want a darker shade then apply slightly deeper. The thing with this formula is that it does tend to smear easily in my opinion therefore I cannot see myself using this particular lipstick. It is a cute travel size as well, so its perfect for giving your lips a little bit of color.
