My Lokai

Hello there lovelies!

Today I want to focus on the bracelet I’m wearing.
The bracelet I’m wearing is called the Lokai bracelet. It holds a lot of meaning in the most simplest way possible: when you feel as though you’re at your lowest or highest points in life, just remember to balance each out by feeling hopeful and humble no matter what.

The white and black beads are filled with elements from the highest and lowest points on earth (Mt. Everest & the Dead Sea). The rest of the beads are clear as it signifies the individual stories we have to tell. In the form of a bracelet, life is full of cycles with different elements, but there’s only two important ones to focus on. We’ve all been through both at some point and I just think this is a great reminder for all of us.

Taken directly from the Lokai website:
“Each lokai is infused with elements from the highest and lowest points on Earth. The bracelet’s white bead carries water from Mt. Everest, and its black bead contains mud from the Dead Sea. These extreme elements are a reminder to the wearer to live a balanced life – staying humble during life’s peaks and hopeful during its lows.” Read more about the Lokai bracelet here.

The top I'm wearing is an oldie from White House Black Market and they make similar tops to it almost every season! The shorts are relatively new as I just bought them from American Eagle with their BOGO 50% off.

I hope you enjoyed reading this post and please do read about the Lokai bracelet if you wish, let me know what you think of it!
