A Walk in the Snow

I must confess, I am awkward and shy when it comes to being in front of the camera and I believe it has to do with the fact that I used to be the photographer, not the model. As I continue to keep up with this blog I hope to learn more about myself and fashion and what speaks to me best! I had a lot of fun being out in the cold with my two friends who kindly wanted to shoot this for me, so big shout outs to Will and Nate (they sank in soft snow to take some of these shots)!

This outfit is a little something I put together with some of my favorite pieces. Every time I wear this H&M coat, a lot of my coworkers and friends love how ‘classy’ it looks. It is important for me to not wear anything big and puffy underneath or else it makes my hips look wide (I don’t even have wide hips) and it just doesn’t look right depending on the look I’m going for. Because of this I like to keep things minimal when wearing this coat. I stopped by H&M again the other day and picked up this cute sweater in this interesting color. This sweater is truly unique to my wardrobe as I do not own any piece of clothing in this color.

For the boots, these are my every day boots and I love the gold details on them. The black and gold is great for this outfit since the buttons on the coat are also gold, therefore I kept it consistent as best as I could!
